Assistant Counsel – Western Suburbs of Philadelphia.

Our client, a highly regarded boutique financial services firm, is seeking a junior level Assistant Counsel to support the General Counsel and the compliance group with various legal and compliance matters. On the legal side, the work will include, among other things: reviewing and drafting basic contracts; assisting in the review and analysis of information for due diligence purposes; and managing employment and immigration related issues. On the compliance side, the work will include gathering and reviewing disclosure statements of internal employees and assisting in the testing and auditing of company procedures for purposes of compliance with external rules and regulations and internal corporate policies. The company believes the successful candidate should be licensed in PA, and have 1-3 years of legal experience, ideally focused on contracts and commercial matters.
