Corporate Securities Attorney, Medical Technology
In-House/Securities/Philadelphia suburbs: A NYSE company, which is a global provider of clinically effective medical technologies, is seeking an attorney with 4+ years of ’33 and’34 Act experience and a major law firm background to be the company’s primary securities lawyer. The GC has a securities law background, but with his many other responsibilities as GC, this candidate will be the go-to securities person. If the candidate were to join the company this fall, they will have the benefit of “shadowing” the GC as he handles the company’s year-end work. This lawyer will focus on securities, but will also have the opportunity to work on M&A, real estate, and financing, corporate governance, and tax matters as well. Within this collegial law department, located in the Philadelphia suburbs, the lawyer will enjoy close involvement with diverse business clients and management in an established and stable company. They will work closely with finance, accounting, investor relations, communications, and treasury personnel on a broad range of U.S. public company reporting, governance, and transactional activities. There are promotional opportunities for this role, both within and outside the law department. Company potentially open to a hybrid working arrangement.
