A growing public company located in central New Jersey seeks an attorney with 8+ years of corporate experience gained in a major law firm and in-house. The lawyer will support a wide range of domestic and international transactional matters, including: M&A; joint ventures; real estate; commercial contract drafting, negotiating and interpretation; and other business development activities. Experience with private equity or venture capital transactions, technology licensing, and data privacy concerns would be advantageous. The lawyer must be a self-starter able to handle negotiations and close transactions without significant assistance or oversight and able to provide effective counseling with respect to technology solutions and commercial transactions and business relationships. Presenting superior communication and client skills, the lawyer will be expected to cultivate strong relationships with business development professionals and other managers and executives within the company. The lawyer will be expected to work in the office three days per week. The employer does not prefer to provide relocation assistance.
