Bob is a co-founder and the Managing Principal of Coleman Nourian Legal. Along with his management responsibilities, he maintains an active search practice focused on high level in-house counsel search for corporate clients as well as partner level searches for law firm clients. He also routinely counsels and works closely with small and mid-sized commercial law firms seeking appropriate merger opportunities with large firms. In his 25 plus years in the legal search business, Bob has handled retained Chief Legal Officer/General Counsel searches for a wide variety of companies in the Mid-Atlantic region from venture backed emerging growth companies to large publicly traded Fortune 500 companies. He is a long-standing member of the National Association of Legal Search Consultants.

Prior to entering the legal placement profession, Bob practiced law as a corporate and securities attorney first with a major New York City law firm and then in Philadelphia with Pepper Hamilton. He routinely draws upon his legal practice experience while helping to frame positions with clients and evaluate prospective candidates. Bob attended the University of Scranton and New York Law School where he served as the managing editor of the New York Law School Law Review.

In his free time, Bob enjoys hunting for antiques, playing golf and tennis, hiking with his faithful canine companion and traveling.
